What does Monolith do, exactly?+
Monolith unifies your Apple Reminders and Calendar right in your Mac’s notch. Available across every desktop: glance at your meetings and tasks, take action without switching windows, then return immediately to your work.
Does my data leave my Mac?+
Neither your reminders nor your calendar events leave your Mac. Monolith syncs with Apple’s apps locally through macOS EventKit, with no account or third-party server.
What is the difference between annual and lifetime?+
The annual plan works on 1 device. The lifetime purchase works on 3 devices at the regular price, or 1 device when a promotion is applied. It does not renew and includes every Monolith 2.x update.
Can I try Monolith before paying?+
Yes. The first launch includes a free 14-day trial with no credit card required.
Which version of macOS do I need?+
The current version targets macOS 14 or later and is designed primarily for MacBooks with a notch.
What can I do in the notch?+
See today’s and tomorrow’s meetings and the current “NOW” event, browse reminder lists, check off tasks, reschedule them by dragging to Today, and quickly create a reminder or event with ⌘N.
Can I display only the calendar or only reminders?+
Yes. You can adjust module ratios (70/30, 50/50, 30/70) or devote 100% of the width to a single module depending on your focus.
Who created Monolith?+
Monolith was created by independent developer Andréas Ferré Tafoiry to keep Apple Reminders within reach at the Mac’s notch. Monolith is independent of Apple.
